Summary
The LEP is working with the Halal Science Center (HSC) IPB to deliver competency-based training for Indonesian abattoir operators covering halal slaughter and preparation for halal certification. This 2024/2025 project delivered 20 successful participants for Halal Slaughtermen and 60 successful participants for Halal Supervisor.
Objectives
This project will provide competency-based training for Indonesia’s abattoir operators in halal slaughtermen for 20 participants and halal supervisors for 60 participant.

This 2024/2025 project delivered 20 successful participants for Halal Slaughtermen and 60 successful participants for Halal Supervisor.
Benefits to industry
Increase the numbers of competent personnel working in the industry to ensure halal and best animal welfare practices.
