Summary
Build awareness and understanding of the red meat industry’s commitment to sustainable practices.
Environmental management is one of the key trust drivers for the red meat industry.
The better the perceptions are of the red meat industry sustainability practices, the higher trust is in our industry.
Those with higher levels of trust in the industry, more likely to be regular red meat consumers.
Objectives
Contribute to the achievement of the MLA Strategic Plan objective: 60% of Australians surveyed agree/strongly agree with the statement ‘the Australian cattle and sheep industry are committed to sustainable production’.
