Summary
This project involved:
- Developing technical and industry briefs to support industry positions and submissions on economic, technical and other NTB priorities.
- Working with the Australian government and industry stakeholders, MLA supported trade events, projects, undertook representations, provided briefings and facilitated industry roundtables and delegations to support greater trade engagement and further market reforms.
- Trade engagement and promotion initiatives to support trade development and reforms.
- Monitoring market conditions monitoring across SEA and providing industry with timely updates and insights to support decisions and actions.
- Exploring and identification of trade and market development opportunities in emerging markets, such as Cambodia and India.
Objectives
This project covers the reporting period of 2026–2030 and addresses the International Markets priority for the South Asia region of improving market access.
