The NLIS database is a key enabler of red meat traceability, biosecurity and market access. Investment in the NLIS database is crucial for our industry to respond to biosecurity risks and market access demands, of both today and into the future. The Federal Government has committed to funding an uplift of the current NLIS system, to ensure it can support biosecurity risks and market access demands, of both today and into the future.
Objectives
The Stage 1 & 2 Project Resourcing Project was set up to support the dedicated project management team and required resources (OPEX) that contribute to Stage 1: Strategic Discovery, and Stage 2: Discover and Define of the NLIS Database Uplift.
