The Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) Feedlot Program continued to turn levy investment into practical outcomes for Australia's feedlot sector throughout the 2025–26 financial year.

From nationwide medical clinics to everyday households across Asia, MLA connected with global consumers this past week to drive demand for Aussie red meat.

Producers from across Australia's red meat and livestock industry are being encouraged to register for MLA Updates 2026, with the full agenda now released for the flagship industry event at The Ville Resort-Casino in Townsville, Queensland, on Tuesday 24 November.

To mark the International Day of Rural Women on 15 October, MLA spoke with three producers from the cattle, sheep and goat industries about the changes that have made a difference, the challenges they are navigating and what they have learned along the way.
