Single sign - on success at LambEx

Sheep producers from around Australia seized the opportunity to streamline access to their integrity system accounts at LambEx.

The Integrity Systems Company’s team was kept busy throughout the three days of LambEx, introducing visitors to the myMLA customised dashboard and linking their industry accounts; National Livestock Identification System, Livestock Production Assurance (including National Vendor Declarations), Meat Standards Australia, and Livestock Data Link through the single sign-on option within myMLA.

Integrity Systems Company Communication & Adoption Manager Kathleen Allan said the system allows producers to use a single username and password to access each of the individual industry programs.

“Producers can add the ‘single sign-on’ function to their customised myMLA dashboard and more than 33,000 have done so since it was introduced last year”

She emphasised that NLIS, LPA and MSA continue to hold producer information but the single sign-on just allows producers to use one username and password to access all the different systems.

“Helping producers through the process of linking their accounts really demonstrated just how easy it is,” Ms Allan said.

“It’s much more straightforward and means you don’t need to remember multiple user-names and passwords.”

Using the single sign-on system is not compulsory and the data is not shared with outside organisations. Producers can still use the previous system of logging in through separate usernames and passwords for each individual system.
