agri benchmark network results
These reports present the agri benchmark network’s perspectives on recent global beef and sheepmeat developments, the economics and drivers facing producers around the world, farm profitability (globally and in network countries) and views on likely future developments and challenges.
It then asks ‘how competitive are Australian beef and sheepmeat producers and what are the main areas where our productivity differs from other countries?’
The analysis and perspectives are as of mid-2019, though farm data is for the 2018 calendar year.
What is agri benchmark?
agri benchmark is a global, non-profit and non-political network of agricultural economists, advisors, producers and specialists in key sectors of agricultural value chains. The cattle and sheep network has over 30 member countries, covering 90% of world beef production and 55% of sheepmeat production and has been producing the results of comparative analysis over the last 15 years.
