Summary

This project provides funding for an ALFA-MLA Technical Services Officer, who will deliver information, education, training and technical assistance to lot feeders, industry and stakeholders throughout Australia. A key component of this work will entail the development and delivery of ALFA-MLA extension campaigns directly to feedlot managers on-feedlot, together with communication activities, to ensure adoption of key products and awareness of grainfed levy investment outcomes.

Success will be measured through a face-to-face survey of all National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme (NFAS) feedlots over a three year period to obtain key industry statistics, adoption rates of MLA products, and R&D priorities for grainfed levy investment.
