Summary

​A component of the genetics adoption strategy is the MLA genetics marketing campaign. The campaign is targeted at providing new resources and generating awareness of the value of breeding values in improving on farm productivity and profitability.
 
Part of the campaign is a the MLA genetics hub, a new online location to deliver new resources targeted at commercial sheep and beef producers. The main element of the genetics hub are the how two video modules, developed in partnership with Sound Images. These modules explain the basics of breeding values, indexes, breeding objectives, how to develop a breeding objective and how to search the online databases. A second series has been developed explaining all of the different traits that are available. 22 videos across beef and sheep were develop during this project.
