Summary
The multifaceted nature of animal welfare means there are many contributors to an animal’s welfare status (e.g. nutrition, health, environment, behaviour, mental status), and there are many ways for animals to display their welfare status to observers. This complexity brings a recording and interpretive challenge.
Objectives
This project will develop the training materials and modules required in order for observers to be of sufficient skill to reliably undertake these important tasks.
