Summary

The purpose of this project was to support the development and delivery of activities to underpin the red meat Integrity System Company (ISC).
The project provided ISC with communications support as directed in relation to the following deliverables:

  • Livestock Marketing Campaign
  • Red Meat 2019 and Communications Support.

Additional support provided during the contract period extended to the "Bushfire Recovery Information Sessions" and "Back to Business" Webinar and Podcast Series.

Activities and outputs have been reported by deliverables on monthly basis – and reflect the reports submitted throughout the contract period.

Objectives

  • Raise awareness amongst value chain partners of ISC and its role in Australia's red meat integrity system.
  • Create understanding amongst value chain partners about the importance of integrity system programs.
  • Encourage value chain partners to take an active role in supporting producer compliance with integrity system programs.
  • Deliver a creative and broad communication campaign about livestock selling.

Benefits to industry

This project facilitated the development of a range of important products to build awareness of the ISC, the integrity system as a whole and the range of integrity programs (LPA, NLIS, eNVD and LDL). The project also supported the delivery of webinars to those impacted by the bushfires.
