Summary

The purpose of this project was to provide maintenance of the MSA Processor and End User online order system for MSA inserts and point of sale material, the online MSA producer and End User training and administration portals and MSA producer reaccreditation requirements in LPA.

Objectives

The key objectives of this project can be summarised as the following:
-​ provision of second and third level local support role of infrastructure and applications, as required from corporate IT team
- ​coordinate IT services with MLA IT team as required
- communicate and liaise with relevant parties internally and externally
-​ ensure MSA IT Manual documentation is current
-​ perform maintenance and updates where directed to existing systems including but not limited to SQL Server data, Online Ordering Tools, and Online Training Tools and Admin portals.​

Key findings

The key outcome for this project was the continued integrity of Meat Standards Australia's internal and external software systems which are constantly available.

Benefits to industry

Through this project MSA ensured that industry personnel could access and utilise MyMSA for the following subsystems and purposes: Processor and End User online order systems, the online MSA producer and End User training and administration portals and MSA producer reaccreditation requirements in LPA.
