Run goats? Check out this webinar

08 October 2021

Regardless of the breed of goat you run or whether your enterprise is about meat, dairy or fibre, everyone in the goat industry has an important role to play in the red meat integrity system.

On Tuesday 28 September, Integrity Systems Company (ISC) hosted a dedicated webinar session to provide goat producers with a range of practical tips and tools to help them meet the requirements of the red meat integrity system.

Webinar discussion focused on goat producers’ requirements under the two key elements of Australia’s red meat integrity system, including:

  • on-farm assurance, delivered through the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program (which includes National Vendor Declarations)
  • identification and traceability, delivered through the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS).

This included hands-on assistance with:

  • LPA accreditation and audits
  • Tips to make sure the LPA NVD is clear, complete and correct
  • NLIS transfers and reconciliations
  • Farm record keeping for NLIS and LPA
  • Using the faster, easier eNVD platform
  • Linking industry and integrity accounts to myMLA.

Producers unable to attend the webinar can access a recording of the webinar now available on the ISC website.
