Summary

Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and the Australian Meat Processors Corporation (AMPC) ran an Innovation Awards program for meat processors. The award is to allow processors to demonstrate the innovation that they have applied to their health and safety procedures, new researech and development technology awards, efficiency and sustainable processing systems.

The purpose of the awards was to recognise those red meat processors taking the lead and raising the bar for industry through the adoption of research and development.
