Summary

The goal of this research proposal is to conduct the initial research required for development and importation of potential Salmonella vaccine strains into Australia, with the aim of developing an oral salmonellosis vaccine for registration in Australia to prevent disease in commercial livestock production systems, particularly for sheep in live export.
