2. To discover and define an API strategy and delivery plan for consolidating, architecting and managing API’s across the ISC organisation.

Key findings

Detailed technical and business implementation plan based on a preliminary product selection (Google Apigee) was produced as final deliverable.

Benefits to industry

This project will enable industry to access red meat data using a consistent method, to drive decision-making within red meat businesses for greater productivity and profitability.

Future research

The project delivered a detailed API strategy and implementation plan for ISC and it is recommended to continue the procurement and implementation of a solid API management platform to support the API-first strategy going forward.
