Summary

The Managing Climate Variability (MCV) Program was created to increase Australia's capacity to capture opportunities and manage risks related to climate variability. Building on more than a decade of research by its predecessor, the Climate Variability in Agriculture Program (CVAP), MCV focuses explicitly on agriculture and natural resources management. This project enabled the novation of the program management from Grains RDC to MLA, and MLA to collect contributions from other funding partners including GRDC, CRDC, AgriFutures (RIRDC) and SRA. Projects emerging from MCV include B.CCH.2106, B.CCH.2111, B.CCH.2119, and the Rural R&D for Profit Forewarned is Forearmed Project.
