Livestock Advisor Essentials – Northern program

Livestock Advisor Essentials (LAE) is a professional development program designed for early-career livestock professionals who want to build their skillset and expand their industry knowledge/networks. In the second half of 2023, LAE will deliver a program designed for livestock advisors in northern Australia.

  • 3 August: Genetics and reproduction – Rockhampton, Queensland
  • 31 October: Meating the market – Brisbane, Queensland

MeatUp Forums

MeatUp Forums are an opportunity for beef, sheep and goat producers to learn something new, stay up-to-date with the latest on-farm research and technologies and meet others working in the red meat industry.

Each forum is designed by producers from the local region through producer working groups to ensure topics, content and presenters are regionally relevant.

BredWell FedWell (BWFW)

BredWell FedWell (BWFW) is a practical, one-day introductory workshop on how productivity and profitability can be improved through good breeding and feeding over the livestock production cycle, with a specific focus on profit drivers.

Producers can use the outcomes of the workshop to develop a genetics and nutrition regime suited to their environment and markets to boost profitability.
