The Australian Lot Feeders’ Association’s (ALFA) biennial conference, BeefEx, is a key highlight of the beef industry’s calendar.
What you need to know about BeefEx 2022
The national event, due to be held from 18–20 October 2022 at Brisbane Showgrounds, will showcase a forum of genuine innovation, relevant and inspired programming and fantastic networking opportunities.
With an expected 600 national and international delegates, 50 exhibitors, up to 25 speakers and three key social events, attendees won’t be disappointed during this celebration of the sector’s achievements.
Held once every two years, BeefEx attracts feedlot operators and staff, nutritionists, veterinarians, backgrounders, regulators, service providers, transport operators and others involved in the grain fed industry and beef supply chain.

MLA at BeefEx
MLA is sponsoring a BeefEx session where Dr Melissa George (pictured), Bovine Dynamics, will discuss the results of a recent MLA research program that identified a 7kg hot carcase weight response to the practice of short duration lairage.
